Tres #TR30Days

I should start out with a WARNING:  There’s a lot of media in this post.  I’m just feeling it… #rollwithmehere  For anyone who hasn’t seen any of my #TR30Days posts or you’re just joining in; here’s the video explaining it.

I was introduced to it at #PRSCamp through People Report/Black Box Intelligence and I have to say that it was THE.MOST.INSPIRING.THING.EVER… or at least in 2011.  It’s made a HUGE difference in my life and I will forever be grateful to Joni (aka @Luckypenny), Melissa (aka @mpapaleo), Amanda (aka @Sexythinker) for introducing it to us at Camp.  And then BIG Shout-Out to Ty (aka @ty_sullivan – heart of my TRIBE) & Bill (aka @Culturedude) who kinda unknowingly pushed me into it; otherwise, it’d still be a ‘cool thing to do someday’ on my list of “other cool things to do someday.”   Which sort of leads me to the first 1/3 and my initial inspiration for this 3rd round; which I’m affectionately nicknaming “Tres #TR30Days:”

For a lot of reasons, many of which don’t really bear going further into right now, I have this desire to Do More.  Call it whatever you want; but I think the first two rounds of #TR30Days has really tapped into my conation &.. I just know there’s some greatness – things that could really make a lasting impact – that is within my reach to be part of & accomplish.  Which got me thinking about this quote – I really buy into this.  Truly believe that 90% of the time we are defeated in our own head or through lack of organization… and I know I’ve allowed that in my own life.  But, I’m in the mood to astound myself & help others astound themselves… so, here we go!

This little girl, Jessica?? Is feeling SUPER good about her life… and she’s totally the 2/3rd of my inspiration for Tres’ #TR30days.   I was thinking about my gratitude exercises; it’s sort of a mini-version of this.  But, I want to share it!   I’ve tinkered with this on Twitter and Facebook on Tuesdays & Thursdays – but it’s my goal to have this as a full-blown movement by the end of this 30 days (even if only 10 of us are participating, lol – can that still be a movement??).  Oh, and make sure the girls have their gratitude journals/blog(s) consistently updated.

And for my other piece of inspiration for this #TR30Days Challenge? I offer you .. er, me/us .. “Moves Like Jagger”

This actually has nothing to do with Jagger other than the fact that he’s a total trip and I love the beat!  This is about the beat speed I use when working out – which I woefully fell behind on in the last month.  And, if I’m honest?  After some serious ribbing about how I only eat “Rabbit Food” by a certain friend (1) – I’ve made a POINT of ordering some junk food (2) in the last month & those 2 things paired make a bad mix.  SO… back on the wagon w/ my physical/body activity & I’m going to listen to this song every morning to get me pumped to do it!

So, there’s my inspiration… here’s my list:

Mind:

  1. Read 2 new books .. and shoot for a 3rd for fun!
  2. Create and populate a “Gratitude” Category on my blog – creating my own little ‘Gratitude Encyclopedia’ as they don’t update theirs regularly enough
  3. Get back on track w/ my Spanish Lessons – complete 1 chapter this challenge by spending 15 min. each day w/ it.
  4. Resurrect the ‘Pampered Princess’ routine to help unwind each morning – STOP falling asleep over the computer surrounded by work, TC stuff, etc…
  5. Make a T0-Do List every day categorized just like this list – and Crystal, make it realistic! Don’t OVERLOAD
  6. Get my charity vlogs out ON time
  7. Promote Kaye/Bassman Charity Event
  8. Dedicated Participation in LoveBomb & No Kid Hungry initiatives

Body:

  1. Seriously #10kaday isn’t undoable – it wasn’t even super HARD to bust out under an hour.  So, #10kaday & post it on the #nikeplus & #TR30days hashtags for accountability.
  2. Dance, dance, dance!  Got the dance room booked for an hour 6 days a week – gonna use it! 🙂
  3. Commit to converting to buying local exclusively for veggies & fruits – so much healthier! Farmers market every week
  4. Weights (cleared, yay!) 3 times a week – low weights, high reps.
  5. 3k in 30:  sit-ups, push-ups (that’s gonna FEEL like it will kill me), jumping jacks, stair pairs, and squats

Business:

  1. 2 New Clients
  2. Finalize business plan for 2012
  3. Get new clients from last #TR30 stablized & on-process
  4. TC Strategy Finalized & Executed

Relationships:

  1. Supper Six Calendar for Q4 made out
  2. Get to know the runners in my #Runtherock group
  3. Make a point of getting to know the Saturday Worship Team! 🙂
  4. Enjoy Dating a little more – feels kinda like a chore at present?
  5. Go back to spending some QT w/ the girls each week – just 2 hours of 1:1 time w/ ea girl each weekday
  6. 2 Mom/Daughter Dates each month – 1 w/ each girl
  7. Do Gratitude Journaling/Blogging w/ the girls each day

(1) You know who you are and I’m totally using you as my scapegoat 😉

(2) Read= Sonic Milkshakes – 3, Hamburger (1.5 – I don’t eat the top buns, LOL) – Ruffles Molten Hot Wings Chips – 4 bags
